About Us

The Sai-No-Kuni Visual Plaza has opened in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture (Japan), to serve as the nucleus of SKIP CITY, whose aim is to bring together people and resources that will be at the center of the next generation of audio-visual related industry.

Sai-No-Kuni Visual Plaza consists of six facilities: HD studio, Rental Office, Postproduction, Audio Visual Hall, Visual Museum and Audio Visual Library. All the facilities have equipment compatible with multi-formats, including 4K or digital HD. And the facilities are configured to be immediately responsive to the new era of the audio-visual related industry.

Also, Sai-No-Kuni Visual Plaza aims to produce top creators capable to becoming part of the new era of audio-visual production. By using the plaza’s array of facilities, young people and venture companies can strive to create content for the modern era.

The six facilities are highly integrated, allowing the creation and establishment of new audio-visual industries and a distinctive new culture. The driving force behind this is the Sai-No-Kuni Visual Plaza.

A rental hall featuring vivid images and sound with its huge screen, 4K digital cinema projector, and Dolby Surround System

Operating jointly with NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), the library contains valuable audiovisual assets produced by Saitama Prefecture and memorable TV programs produced by NHK. All videos are available for viewing on demand.

4 HD Editing Rooms and a Multi Audio Room organized in multi-format with the latest equipment
