Japan's First Interactive Museum of the history and principles of image and the process of filmmaking
An interactive exhibition is permanently open to everyone - from children to adults - so that they can learn about the history and principles of image and the process of filmmaking. You can also experience audio-visual production by using the principles and knowledge you have just learned here. We hope this museum becomes a familiar place for visitors by facilitating their interaction with instructors and museum guides.

This is where visitors can obtain guidance. It is also a meeting spot. Two 100-inch monitors guide you through this facility and show some products produced by children.

This is an exhibition that covers the filmmaking process: planning, art, shooting, lighting, editing, sound, and even the latest motion capturing. Most of the installation is interactive, so visitors can also touch and play with the exhibits.

You can experience audio-visual production using professional equipment in studios 301, 302 and 303.
Three studios are available for rent.
On weekdays, shooting is done here for filmmaking lessons for students mainly of elementary schools in Saitama pref. In addition, there are number of attractions for general members of the public, including "Flying Carpet," an interactive collage. (If you bring your own VHS or DV tape, we can record on it for you to take home.)
In the Video Box and Multi Media Corner, you can try video editing or audio-visual production using PCs.
The Multi-media Corner holds audio-visual production workshops on the weekends and during summer vacation.
Exhibition Corner presents cutting-edge examples of audio-visual works and also holds permanent and special exhibitions.

An information desk is set up here for people to rent DV cameras or Non-linear editing rooms.
There is also a salon for people to exchange information and communicate with each other.
We support your production efforts.
