Visual Museum

Filmmaking Study Program

Educational Programs

The Visual Museum offers schools audiovisual production courses such as news and CM production courses.  Students do shooting and editing at their schools, and are then able to record at the museum's studios.  In order to complete their work, students take on roles as not only casters and cameramen, but also switchers and audio mixers.  Through these experiences, students learn how to collect information, how to utilize the media to release the information, and how to convey information and important messages.

There are also one-day hands-on learning courses to study studio recording and editing. About three hundred schools participate in these courses every year.  Audiovisual works created by the students of each participating school are available for viewing on the SKIPCITY Channel
